Simply Strings Music Camp specializes in nurturing the beginning and intermediate string player. It provides basic music instruction in a fun and motivating atmosphere. The instructors at Simply Strings are certified music educators with years of experience in string technique as well as sought after free-lance musicians
The goal of the camp is to create a positive learning experience while giving students tools that will make them better musicians. Come and be a part of a wonderful musical experience.
Summer 2008 Camp Information
The main instruments taught will be violin, viola, cello and bass
For grades 4 -8
June 9 - 20 Beginning Orchestra
This camp is for beginning students and
will focus on basic instrumental instruction.
June 23 - July 1 Intermediate Orchestra
This camp is for students with at least one year
of experience and will focus on improving music reading and technical
skills.
July 21 - August 1
This camp is for beginning student and will focus on basic instrumental instruction.

The cost of camp is $60.00 for 2 weeks. This includes camp shirt, masterclass with top area musicians, certificate of completion, demonstration concert and 2 weeks of instruction. Students must provide own instruments. The $25.00 registration fee must be received by June 1st. All fees must be paid by the morning of the first day of camp. No refunds will be given once camp begins.
